PJ's surfline reports the actual wave and wind conditions on Llangennith beach (no predictions!).
Updated twice daily at approx. 8:30am and 1:00pm the report gives information on tides, surfing and windsurfing conditions and often give a recommended beach for both.

As PJ has lived in Llangennith so many years his surf report started because so many of his friends rang him for a surf check. Later when PJ opened the surf shop calls were becoming so constant he had no time to serve his customers.
So for the first two years he bought his own answer machines and daily entered the surf conditions until in 1985 with half a dozen dead answer machines around him, PJ put his reports on a professional level.
Now every day you can see Pete drive to the beach to get the latest variations on the surf conditions. On days when conditions change rapidly Pete has been known to update the report half a dozen times, but twice is generally what you get!! Surf line is set up to operates three hundred and sixty five days a year and it is his son James that usually does the chores if and when Pete and Carolyn decide they need a break.
These tide tables show
approximate high and low tide at Swansea. Times of sunrise and sunset
and moon rise and set also shown.
